We are looking for an Analyst, Quality Assurance who would be responsible for creating and executing Test Plans to ensure the proper functioning of software before its release for User Acceptance Testing and prior to its release into the production environment. The person works closely with the Business Solutions Analysts, Solution Developers and Decision Architects to ensure that the correct functional and technical testing is conducted as per the business requirements. Further, the person is also required to maintain metrics necessary and the supporting documentation necessary for the proper reporting of these metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and implements test plans, working closely with software engineers and the business representatives. 30%
Performs testing to execute test plans. 40%
Creates and updates documentation and metrics. 20%
Reviews and improves QA process. 10%
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The basic requirements needed to be able to successfully perform the duties of the role.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of work experience in software quality assurance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
Should resemble the unique requirements for the role. May include more than one of each type. Each requirement should have its own bullet point.
Ability to write appropriate test plans and cases relative to the function involved.
Ability to communicate with the business and development teams with good written and verbal skills
Understanding of requirements-based testing and the SDLC
Defect reporting and tracking
Attention to details.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps/ VSTS/ Jira
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, experience, and/or skills that would help contribute to success in the role but are not considered required to perform the responsibilities of the job. “Nice-to-have” qualifications.
EDUCATION: Master's or Advanced FIELD OF STUDY: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology
EXPERIENCE: Experience as a decision architect, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing advanced decisioning solutions using Pega or similar platforms.
CERTIFICATION(S): Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

Pega's BPM and CRM tools
Relevant automated testing tools,; knowledge in SQL.
Worked on Automation framework development for any automation tool
Developed and executed automation test scripts
