The Senior HR Project Manager is responsible for managing cross-functional, strategic annual and ad-hoc initiatives for the Human Resources department. This individual will use project management tools and methodologies to support and/or lead project teams through the entire project management/process improvement lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Lead or support cross-functional teams in scope definition, process analysis, problem solving, recommendations and overall project execution. Oversees the planning and implementation of new Human Resources initiatives and processes.

Leads and coordinates all aspects of a diverse, multi-disciplinary Human Resources (HR) project or multiple HR projects, including process re-engineering. Create project plans, track and monitor results, prepare status reports, facilitate project meetings and help drive projects through to completion.

Utilize project management tools, systems, templates and processes to organize and drive project work according to the project plan, key deliverables and milestones.

Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals are met. Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and work cross functionally to ensure successful project execution.

Education

Required: Bachelor

Preferred: Master or Advanced

Language

Required: English



Experience

Required: Minimum of 5 years in a project management role. Ability to capture key project metrics  and proficient in MS Office Suite, Project Scheduling tools, and Process Mapping tools. Strong critical thinking, communication skills, business acumen, organizational skills. Detail oriented. Financial/business case analysis, facilitation and execution skills.

Preferred: Minimum of 8 years in a project management role; preferably, experience working for a publicly traded company. Review data points and able to synthesize information to make recommendations to leadership; comfortable with senior levels of leadership; able to work cross-functionally with various departments.
