We are looking for a Lead Decisioning Architect who will lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex decisioning strategies using the Pega Decisioning platform (CDH).

The Lead Decisioning Architect will enable transformation of business requirements into decisioning artifacts by collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging data analytics, and developing advanced adaptive/ predictive models to guide real-time decision-making processes. The Lead Decisioning Architect will also oversee creation of various actions, treatments, engagement and contact policies in Next-Best-Action Designer.

The Lead Decisioning Architect is expected to take a leadership role and mentor other Decisioning Architects via regular code and design reviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take a leadership role in Designing and architecting the Pega Decisioning solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. 20%

  • Leads the development and implementation of decisioning strategies that leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, and complex business rules to optimize customer interactions and business outcomes. 20%

  • Leads the effort in defining, configuring, and optimizing complex business rules, decision logic, and decision tables within Pega Decisioning to align with business requirements and compliance standards. 20%

  • Leads the development and management of adaptive and predictive models within the Pega Decisioning platform, continually improving accuracy and effectiveness. 15%

  • Oversees the integration of data from various sources, including customer data, transactional data, and external data providers, to enable data-driven decision-making 10%

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders, data scientists, developers, and other teams to ensure successful implementation and continuous optimization of decisioning solutions 5%

  • Oversees the monitoring, analysis and fine-tuning of decisioning strategies to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and overall performance and ensures adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. 5%

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation related to advanced decisioning strategies, models, and configurations 5%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The basic requirements needed to be able to successfully perform the duties of the role.

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's

FIELD OF STUDY:  Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:  7+ years as a Decisioning Architect or in a similar IT role with a record of successfully designing and implementing advanced decisioning solutions using Pega or a similar platform.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.

  • Dedication to achieving outstanding results. Driven and team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead by example.

  • Able to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; able to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.

  • Strong expertise in data analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and complex business rule development

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Able to work in teams as well as independently.

  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education, experience, and/or skills that would help contribute to success in the role but are not considered required to perform the responsibilities of the job.  “Nice-to-have” qualifications.

EDUCATION:  Master's or Advanced

FIELD OF STUDY:  Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:  Experience as a decision architect, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing advanced decisioning solutions using Pega or similar platforms.

CERTIFICATION(S):  Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant, Pega Certified System Architect
