Responsibilities & Skills

  • Design and implement integration solutions for Pega CDH applications, including data ingestion from upstream systems using data jobs, data sets, Kafka, and Pega Stream rules.
  • Configure and manage background processing, queue processors, job schedulers, file listeners, and FTP/SFTP connections.
  • Implement secure integrations using OAuth 2.0, including authentication profiles, service packages, client registration, token management, and scoped authorization.
  • Work on Next-Best-Action (NBA) and NBA containers (real-time and batch); own Primary Schedule runs, tune data flows, concurrency, partitioning, and optimize Interaction History (IH) and outcome capture.

  • Configure Customer Profile Designer (CPD), context dictionaries, profile data sources, audience definitions, real-time containers, and IH data summaries for decisioning at scale.
  • Implement RBAC/ABAC security, encryption, secrets management, and ensure auditability and compliance.
  • Optimize performance using Tracer, PAL, Log-Usage, DB tuning, Stream/DDS compaction, and monitor via PDC/AES; remediate PEGA alerts and caching issues.
  • Enforce guardrails, branch quality gates and non-functional benchmarks.
  • Lead DevOps pipelines in Pega Deployment Manager, manage versioning/skimming, branching/merging, automated deployments, and coordinate cutovers across environments.
  • Act as CDH Tech Lead—review changes, perform solution/design reviews, enforce best practices, estimate stories, prioritize backlogs, mentor developers, and collaborate with BAs, decisioning consultants, and data engineering teams.
  • Establish runbooks, monitor SLAs, handle incident triage, and drive continuous improvement for Primary Schedule and real-time decisioning workloads.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, data flows, and CDH concepts like NBA, Interaction History, engagement policies, and strategy debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues, and deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and incremental releases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and influence technical direction.
