Sr. Software Engineer

GENERAL SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Software Engineer with extensive knowledge in Pega Systems (including Pega Constellation and Pega Customer Service framework). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pega Systems, coupled with expertise in front-end technologies. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of projects and driving technological innovation within our organization.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement Pega applications that meet business requirements. This includes creating workflows, user interfaces, and data models using Pega's tools and best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including high-level and low-level design documents, coding standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within Pega applications. This involves debugging, performance tuning, and ensuring the stability and reliability of the applications.
• Work closely with Technical Lead, TPM and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest Pega features and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing applications and processes, ensuring they remain efficient and effective.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's

FIELD OF STUDY: Technology/Engineering or similar degree

EXPERIENCE: 6+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Pega Systems (including Pega Constellation). CERTIFICATION(S): Pega CSSA certified.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

• • 5+ years in Pega Systems (including Pega Constellation)
• • Pega CSSA certified.
• • Strong knowledge of OOPs concepts.
• • Strong understanding and advocating DevOps culture
• • Pega CS framework experience would be good to have.
• • Good understanding of Agile (Scrum) project management methodology and Test-Driven Development
• • Strong communication skills
• • Strong problem-solving skills and should be able to navigate in difficult situation
