Quadient Architect

The Quadient Architect will take on a leading role in designing, developing, and implementing letter and email solutions using the Quadient Inspire platform. In this position, you will lead Quadient development efforts by architecting solutions using Inspire Designer and Interactive programs, while facilitating connections with Inspire Scaler. You will leverage your experience in creating, maintaining, and updating letters and emails in Quadient Inspire to lead our efforts to migrate all written communications from disparate platforms into Quadient Inspire Designer and Interactive. As a key member of our team, along with a Quadient Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining all customer-facing letters and emails. This role requires expert knowledge of Quadient Designer and Interactive for creation of complex letters and emails. You will build reporting and exception handling to optimize the system output. You will also be hands-on in developing, quality checking, and troubleshooting templates and processes in conjunction with our print and email service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate as a leading figure in Quadient development efforts by reviewing business requirements, evaluating alternative approaches, and implementing the best solution within the Inspire Designer and Interactive platform. 30%
Establish quality assurance practices for letters and emails by partnering with key stakeholders on desired outcomes and identifying exceptions. 15%
Support daily-weekly-monthly campaign strategies by providing development expertise. 15%
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and apply them to tasks and projects as appropriate 10%
Drive the efforts in promoting a risk-aware culture and adhering to required standards and processes 10%
Provide instructions to and partner with internal and external Quadient Developers to implement projects 10%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Computer Science, programming languages, math or related field
EXPERIENCE: 4+ years using Quadient/GMC Inspire
CERTIFICATION(S): Bachelor’s or equivalent “Bootcamp” certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Expert understanding of planning, programming, and implementing complex layouts and workflows using Quadient Inspire, VisualStudio, and other automation and programming tools.
- Able to design and create various type of written communications for batch, real-time or interactive delivery.
- Extensive experience in data-processing, layout design, imposition scripting, and output modules in Designer.
- Experience with report generation in Designer.
- Able to provide architectural and application design instruction.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for both internal and external developers.
- Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- A self-starter who is eager to learn, focused, and passionate about creating well-designed and thoroughly tested Inspire Designer workflows and layouts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years using Quadient/GMC Inspire
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
Experience creating Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Experience in back-end data processing from back-end databases and services using SQL, NOSQL, PHP
- Knowledge of the Domestic Mail manual and USPS regulations
- Working knowledge of email service tools such as SendGrid.
- Familiarity with web design including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud products.
Starting Compensation
